How floods occur
Floods occur in many different ways but the most common approach of how a flood occurs is by large amounts of rain or water suspend in a small area in a short amount of time. Floods are also commonly associated with the geographical event "la Nina, where it causes high sea level because of increased water temperature of the east coast of the Pacific near Australia, Indonesia and Papua new Guinea. The increased water temperature causes more humid conditions in the Australian region and therefore as a result more rain.
